Patient Profile: From NoMi to NoGlasses

Laser Eye Institute came very highly recommended by a meticulous and insatiable friend of mine. When she only had positive things to say about her experience I knew I had to check them out. Dr. Haddad and his staff made me feel like part of the family instantaneously. He had extensive knowledge, as a doctor of his caliber should. The biggest difference I noticed was how easy he translated to layman in a way other doctors couldn’t. It was like I was a part of the process from the minute I entered the building.

I feel like part of the family. I was greeted warmly at the front desk, walked through the process, given a tour, all the while being given answers to questions I didn’t even know I had! It was warm, welcoming, and safe. I knew I had found the team to correct my vision.

When it comes to the day to day excursions, my life hasn’t changed all that dramatically. I didn’t have issues with dry eye or pain from contacts, fortunately. How it has changed is the way I see the world now. I’m often flabbergasted while watching a film, like- have trees always been this beautiful??! I live in northern Michigan where we have stunning views of water and winding roads where I can now see details I had never seen before– bugs on flowers, branches on trees across the horizon– the world is truly a stunning and beautiful place. Colors are brighter, shadows are more defined, and I know what street I have to turn down when driving from over a quarter of a mile away! And of course, late night trips to the fridge are much easier to navigate. Allowing Dr. Haddad to correct my vision has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my young adult life.

I cant say enough about the Laser Eye Institute. I have been visually impaired since the second grade and now I can see better than anyone I know. It’s more affordable thank you may think and the care you will receive is unparalleled. This is the best office in the state, why choose something as sensitive as vision with anyone else?
